The Weekend

Whew!  We had a busy weekend August 19-21, but an enjoyable one.
Olivia with the gorilla foot.
Olivia with the penguin sign-she wouldn't stay standing.

It started Friday with a trip to the zoo over the lunch hour.  Although hot (around 100F), Sarah and Olivia visited a few of the exhibits and enjoyed picnic lunch.  Yes, the gorilla was napping next to the window.
Sydney turns 3!
Saturday, Sarah went to Heather's memorial service which was a sad, happy, and all around emotional event.  "Yey, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thy road and thy staff they comfort me."-Psalm 23 was woven throughout.  What a reminder.
We celebrated our goddaughter's 3rd birthday in the afternoon and then enjoyed time with family Saturday evening.
On Sunday, our godson was baptized.  And we enjoyed a lunch after.  By Sunday evening we were all tired.  Olivia crashed a little early and Dan and Sarah enjoyed Tangled (if you haven't seen it, you should!).
Love this picture!  Grandma and Olivia playing with the stroller and baby.

Thanks for designing a bow for me Aunt Cassi!  It's lunch time!
The elusive toothy smile--the second tooth in.

  1. You really did have a full weekend! Glad we got to hang out on Saturday. Also glad the bow worked out! She's getting so big and she gets prettier all the time! Glad those teeth are popping through! We have the same four teeth we've had for the last 4 months :)
