Growing up we had visits from the leprechaun--usually coins were left amid our breakfast dishes. Sometimes footprints could be found. The other thing that sticks out is the green shamrock cookies from Aunt Carol and Uncle Roger. AND we always wore green. Of course Dad argued that since his eyes are green he didn't need to wear green.
The past few years the leprechauns have visited our house or Aunt Mary and Uncle Kurtis' house since we were in New York one year. One even came to Olivia's preschool last year! Olivia is quite taken with the leprechauns. Although the paper footprints aren't convincing, she does talk about trapping the leprechauns and hoping they return for another visit soon. ---Sarah

I think the leprechaun footprints are very important. All these little things make such a big impact even if there seems to be some disbelief. I'm glad you're sharing that with the girls!
