Olivia 32 Months

Olivia has matured a lot over the past few months.
She is definitely two, going on three behavior-wise.  Our biggest behavior problem has been resisting naps and bedtime, however (knock on wood, cross your fingers/toes) it seems to be better in the past two weeks after forever.  Olivia likes to be independent and do things for herself.  Over the summer she has been able to get herself undressed completely (sometimes the shirt gets stuck) and dressed most of the way (a little help on the shirt).  She often gets shoes on the wrong feet.
Olivia likes to do outdoor activities that are physical--we got roller skates (which she does well with on the beginner setting), she rides her trike, and likes to climb.  She loves to play with sticks pretending they are various things.  The highlight of several trips to the zoo this summer was zoo sticks.  She also likes to play in the pool.  In June, Olivia took gymnastics and enjoyed it.
Inside, Olivia has continued to enjoy dress up, building blocks/Legos, and playing dolls.  She also really likes to play with the cars and small people/animals.  She likes puzzles.  She enjoys baking cookies, playdoh, and she also enjoys finger painting.
Olivia's TV shows of choice this summer were: Sesame Street, Thomas the Train, Olivia Pig, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  She can navigate the ipad and also the beginnings of the computer.
Olivia has a lot to say, including a whole bunch of "what that...?", where that?, type questions.  She refers to "yesterday" a lot--it usually means today, yesterday, or tomorrow.
She loves to pretend birthday, make a "cake" and sing to you.  She also enjoys some early "house" pretend play.
