| Forward facing in the carseat! |
Olivia turned 20 months old July 20. We made the decision to turn her forward facing in her carseat, she was excited to be able to see the cars and wanted to put on chapstick with mama every time she got in the car (now you know what my car habit is!). Olivia enjoys playing babies (feeding, wrapping in blanket, having you dress them), dress up (necklaces, socks, shirts), blocks, and tea party. She still enjoys books (favorites right now are: anything babies, Goosie and Gertie series, Elmo). She also likes to color, glue, and paint. She likes songs and music. In the car she asks for "more" radio or her CD. At home, she does the actions to songs and you can sometimes catch her singing bits of songs (clean up, rock a bye, pat a cake). Olivia enjoys the "pool" and has asked for it many days. Her favorite is the pool at the Y, but she likes the kiddie pool in our backyard too. Olivia loves her food--favorites are fruits and veggies and goldfish crackers. She also loves her dog-and gives Brisco hugs and kisses, calls for him, and checks for him (Brisco likes the attention.) Olivia is beginning to identify colors--purple, blue, and pink. Her accuracy with purple is the best. She continues to be a happy, busy, fun girl.
Yea purple!
