Fall Fun

Olivia and Sarah have been busy enjoying the fall weather, doing some fall activities at home, and soaking up time together.
I meant to get this post up last week and then the internet was down. :(
We've painted with apples, made a yarn apple, made apple cinnamon chex mix (YUM!), played in the rice bin, colored leaves and pumpkins and apples on sandpaper, played babies, played dress up, matched leaf colors (which lead to pretend cooking leaves and stirring leaves), and made cinnamon spice playdough.
Weekly we try to make a visit to someone, attend PAT playgroup, go to the Y 2x/week, take walks/play outside when we can, and do various "learning" activities at home.
Apple painting.

Cinnamon spice playdough, snack, and dressed up.

Light reading.

Dress up--hat, wings, dress, socks, scarf, and shoes.

Loves wearing her coat and backpack and "helping".

Update on Baby Rivers #2: Baby continues to grow--now at 28 weeks, this baby enjoys rolling around and stretching to its maximum.  Sarah had to do a fasting 3 hour glucose test last week, after failing her 1 hour (don't know how I managed that!).  So, Dan and Olivia played while Sarah enjoyed 3 hours of un-interupted reading time at the OB's office.  Thankfully, the test came back normal.

Potty training:  Last week we continued to make gains, wearing panties out and about.  Olivia pooped on the potty by herself early in the week (another one of those "mommy, mommy" moments) and on Wed/Thurs had only one accident between the two days (and it was on the way to the potty).  Pausing while we are out or when there is lots of fun to be had continues to be the challenge.
