Happy Easter!

We enjoyed a busy Easter weekend with lots of time with family.
Dan, Olivia, and Sarah dyed Easter eggs on Friday.  Since this had the potential to be a messy activity we opted for dying outside.  Olivia enjoyed placing eggs in the dye--often ending with the egg going "crack".  Ahh, well.  Dan still enjoyed eating all of the hard boiled eggs.

Saturday Dan and Olivia enjoyed some time together and also visited the pasture for a good-bye to Aunt Mary while Sarah worked.  4.5 evaluations later...we all needed an evening of relaxation so we got the new Muppets movie and sinful amounts of Chinese.

Easter morning, Dan was up and out the door to prepare for services.  He played both of them-electric and bass guitar.  We attended both.  Olivia enjoyed the music and greeting people (she's starting to get the hand shake thing).  During first service, Olivia enjoyed decorating her little friend with stickers.  Between services, Olivia hunted a few eggs with the kids.

We all loaded into the car (Mr B too) and headed for Easter lunch and activities with the Kinasts.  We arrived as lunch was finishing, but enjoyed a yummy lunch and singing "happy birthday to Adelynn" before egg hunting with her.  Both girls enjoyed hunting eggs.

On the way home, we stopped in for a visit with Grandma and Grandpa Rivers.  Olivia opened her Easter basket and had fun playing.

The Easter bunny had left a basket at our house, so before bed Olivia opened it.  We think Olivia's favorite treats from the baskets were the food items.  Although the coin and plastic frog from the egg hunt at church were popular too.

It was a good day.  Sarah was reminded that Easter continues to be one of her favorite holidays!
