And the exploring begins

The big news last week was Olivia can crawl!  Last Friday, she discovered she can go from her room into our room.  She has added on and will go into the Master bath and the bathroom down the hall.  You can hear her going from place to place (especially going down the hall towards the stairs) because she breathes hard and uses an excited panting sound.  Sarah knows to pause and check to see what Olivia is up to.

Olivia has been enjoying making raspberries, clapping, beginning to get into things she shouldn't, pulling to stand on anything she can, and finger feeding herself.  In the realm of finger feeding, Olivia's aim has improved over the last week.  Although it still is challenging for her to get the piece of food (usually a puff/cereal piece) into her mouth on the first try!
The up-because-my-teeth-hurt on Tuesday early am, led to Sarah and Dan splitting the time with her.  Dan's included a half a frozen waffle which Olivia "ate like an otter".  Humm...

Yesterday, we had a playdate with our friend.  He was on the receiving end of kisses.  Yes, Olivia is beginning to figure out kisses.  Olivia would kiss his arm/shoulder, then sit back up screech and clap and kiss him again.  We came home and Olivia gave a few kisses to her baby dolls.
